Cleaning/ Restringing/Replacing Parts Service
Description
Our beaded bracelets and necklaces are ethically hand-strung by us in Dublin, Ireland using premium materials that last extrememly well. They are strung on durable, flexible wire that is designed to bend and have an elegant drape when worn.
The wire will stretch over the years which is a natural result of wear and tear over time. It is incredibly strong so is unlikely to break but it may stretch gradually, eventually leaving part of the wire exposed.
This is not a fault but a natural development over time and does not effect the wearability of the piece but it will make it slightly longer.
If you would like your piece restrung we offer a restringing service at cost (not profit).
We will clean and restring the piece using new, high quality wire and replace findings and clasps, etc as needed. Some of the parts will inevitably be damaged as a result of taking it apart and cannot be reused. As such we will need to replace the majority of the below. Some older pieces may require all of the below components to be used.

Product Care:
The longevity of your Scribble & Stone piece will depend on how they are cared for.
Here are some tips to mitigate wear and tear:
All metals will change over time when exposed to salty air, water, sweat or especially if frequently in contact with chemicals such as perfume. We therefore recommend you remove your jewellery before sleeping, sun bathing, showering, swimming, or going to the gym.
Do not spray perfume directly onto your skin while wearing your jewellery as the chemicals will damage your pieces.
We recommend keeping your jewellery in an air-tight container at night to slow down damage by oxygen in the air.
The PH level of your skin can also affect the longevity of your pieces causing excessive wear and tear. The chemicals in Fake Tan have also been shown to hasten the tranishing of jewellery.
Some peoples skin is more acidic than others and they may not tolerate fashion jewellery well causing the jewellery to tarnish more quickly over time.
Damage caused by reasonable wear and tear, misuse or neglect, accidental damage, exposure to heat or harmful chemicals such as perfume cannot be covered by us.

Terms & Conditions
Exchanges or returns are allowed within 60 days of receiving your order provided the pieces are unworn with the tags still on.
Scribble & Stone offer a 12-month guarantee from the date of purchase. This does not cover damage caused by reasonable wear and tear. This applies ONLY to items which present a genuine manufacturing defect and after ruling out possible misuse which caused excessive wear and tear.
